Glen Ridge Borough is a charming community with beautiful homes, excellent schools and a convenient location. Glen Ridge has a population of approximately 7,300 residents. Residents in Glen Ridge enjoy a short train ride to Penn Station in Manhattan. For those who drive, the Garden State Parkway is located just east of town and route 280 is a few miles to the south.
The borough has bbeautiful Gas lit street lamps, attractive Victorian and Tudor style homes, and quiet tree lined streets. Downtown Glen Ridge, located along Ridgewood Avenue. There is a library, post office and banks. You will also find a New Jersey Transit Station, along with many restaurants and shops.
Glen Ridge Public Schools are rated excellent. There are two elementary schools, Linden Avenue School and Forest Avenue School. Students in third through sixth grade attend Ridgewood Avenue Upper Elementary School. Glen Ridge High School serves students in grades 7-12.
